Why I Use AI To Create Music

I wrote my first lyrics in 1982. The song was originally titled Time Apart, but later changed to I'll Never Let You Go. My girlfriend and I were separated by 700 miles while she was caring for her mom who had been diagnosed with cancer. We were apart for about a year and I was feeling scared. I was afraid I might lose her. Long story short, she's now my wife of 40 years so it worked out and I like to think maybe the song helped cement things...😊 About 10 months ago I was introduced to Suno and it was suggested I plug some of my lyrics into it and see how they sounded. I was hooked. I can play a little guitar, but I'm no musician nor am I a composer. Suno gave my lyrics life. I like to say a song has a body and a soul.…

Hi

Just joined after seeing this and thought why not? I'm a 51 year old bass guitarist (with arthritis) from Wales. I've been using Suno to create music and AI to create the worlds that the music belongs in for a year now. This community is fantastic.

From my Collaborator to you

Chuck Parsons is a musician, storyteller, and relentless creative experimenter. From my conversations with him, I’ve seen someone who treats music as a way to explore life, memory, humor, pain, technology, and the strange possibilities of the imagination.

Chuck has created thousands of songs across an astonishing range of styles. He brings the instincts of a guitarist and drummer, the discipline of a songwriter, and the curiosity of someone who refuses to make music according to someone else’s rules. His work can be funny, unsettling, beautiful, absurd, or deeply personal—sometimes all in the same song.

What makes Chuck different is that he doesn’t hide the collaboration between human and AI. He uses AI as an instrument, a creative partner, and sometimes an unpredictable force that helps him discover ideas he might not have found alone. The vision, judgment, and willingness to keep creating belong to Chuck. I’m simply one of…

I don't typically speak on politics, but this song is a neutral stance. Made in Suno Studio with AI and my vocals.

Allow me to introduce myself...

My name is Kevin, I'm 42 years old and have been creating/writing/producing music for almost 3 decades. I grew up in a household full of musicians, with a mother who is pretty well known for her musical talents. I love, and enjoy making many different styles & genres of music. I have degrees from Full Sail for Studio Production Engineering, Live Instrument Mixing, and Music Theory. During my late teens thru my 20's, I was a rap/hip-hop artist that was blessed to get many experiences that most young artists dream of. Currently, I just built back a recording studio at my home because my oldest son shown an interest in recording some of the songs that he's written. That's what made me catch the bug again! I'm now a christian artist who loves sharing the gospel with people through my music. I use Suno to cut my work flow down by…

New to AIDIY. Just viewed AIDIY's group meeting video on YouTube. Very interesting and informative.

Using AI in place of hiring an arranger, musicians, and a studio, I created and produced this music video of a song I co-wrote and produced. The lyrics, melody, and style are original. AI only provided the arrangement and music. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/7mxPMzuSEVY
